Such a really enjoyable stay for a perfect family vacation. Clean, hip new hotel. Separate room with large walk-in wardrobe and the bedroom, for example. Excellent facilities there. I’m filing a complaint for Booked.net. At the time of booking I’ve put a note on my booking request that I would like to have a room with a view of Bellagio. You can see this beautiful view on Jockey Club’s web site. Several days after booking the room I called the hotel directly asking for the room with the view of Bellagio. I’ve been told that it’s based on availability but they made a note. I confirmed my understanding that I’m taking my chances. I was ok if my room would face the other side of the Strip. It was long time planned family reunion, my birthday celebration and first time in Las Vegas for everybody in our group. I planned celebration party, my family was coming from distant places and view of Las Vegas played important role in my preparations. When we entered the room I was shocked. I’ve got a view of concrete wall 10 feet away from the window, 20 feet higher and endless to the sides. My attempt to ask for a change ended with total fiasco. I’ve just learn that there is a third party responsible for room assignment and I don’t have an option for a change. My family was disappointed, I was miserable, we had lights on during daytime, we had poor cell phone signal. My party plans were screwed up. If I would know that my room does not have a view I would not book it. I want to know where in your business communications you have a flow that ruined my vacation.
